Bordoga

Dessert shops have been booming in Bahrain’s sweets market since “halwa” was introduced to the market as traditional local “Gudooa”. However, over the years, locals are becoming more interested in different varieties of sweets from 3 tier cakes to smaller bites. More accurately there’s a shift in the locals’ behavior looking to buy visually appealing desserts and “Instagramable”, giving them something to talk about during social gatherings. 

Bordoga is a sweet shop located in Riffa. The shop has been running since 2018, and currently the owner wants to sell the business due to lack of availability.
